Funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, the project supports the regeneration of our communities, reducing empty property numbers and positively impacting upon the effects of anti-social behaviour, crime, and vandalism. In doing so, the project supports participants to learn new skills and develop a sense of community pride, providing a meaningful stepping-stone into employment or other positive aspirations.
Led by our experienced tutor team, the project is eligible to anyone aged 16+ and is free to attend, supporting people across Wales to build their confidence, motivation, and self-esteem in an active, supportive and empathetic learning environment.
Participants can learn trade skills such as plastering, painting & decorating, tiling, carpentry and kitchen & bathroom fitting, whilst achieving accredited qualifications such as 1st Aid in the Workplace, Health & Safety Awareness and the CSCS card.
Delivered Monday-Friday, project attendance is flexible to need and circumstance, whilst public travel costs can be reimbursed. Read some of our previous participants’ stories here for more information.
If you would like to take part in the project, or refer somebody into the project, please complete the referral details below or complete the attached CLP Referral Form and return to email@example.com. A member of staff will be in touch to discuss the project with you and answer any questions you may have.
We were thrilled to win the ‘Business in the Community Award’ at last nights #SwanseaBayBusinessAwards - congratulations to all winners and nominees of the various award categories - and a huge thank you to our award sponsor @MandDCareltd2
We must be doing things wrong then! Will have to invest in a tea pot ☕️
@TheCiiUK @PotNoodle Our tea buyers always brew in a teapot - they'd argue it's the proper way to do things!
I just feel like they'd be a bit soggy? 😂
Apparently pot noodle sandwiches are a thing, we have had the same conversation @chwaraeteg @PotNoodle https://twitter.com/TheCiiUK/status/1451472161546424339
Our participants are all coming out of their shells, and no topic is off limits when it comes to lunch time conversations - Are pot noodle sandwiches ok? What's the difference between tea in a mug or a teapot? @YorkshireTea @PotNoodle where do you stand on these issues? 🤔
Congratulations to @TheCiiUK , winning their category 'Business in the Community', who demonstrated making a positive impact and playing an instrumental role in the overall well-being and sustainability of our local communities.
